We send our heartfelt sympathy and are thinking of you during this time of sadness and quiet reflection of a life well lived. May you find comfort in the shared memories surrounding Dottie, one very special person to all of us.
Cheryl- I will always remember the great conversations we would have whenever we got together. She would seek me out and we would talk about what we were creating. Whether it was with fabric or crayons, she radiated pure joy from those sparkly eyes and genuine smile. I will miss her.
Larry- Dottie had a lot of time when I was down visiting as a teenager, she volunteered to help me make a bottle of wine. It was made from Welches grape juice. We poured it into a big coke bottle with yeast and sugar and put a balloon on top. She said it blew the balloon off and dripped all down her refrigerator one day. She always reminded me that she had it and was going to take it out for a very special occasion. I never saw that bottle of wine, but it was a fun moment we shared.
