It is the goal of Wilhelm's Portland Memorial to help people complete the relationship with the one who has died and to provide a climate that encourages each person to give and receive emotional support. During the funeral service, family and friends have the opportunity to relate to each other at the deepest levels and find mutual strength.

At Wilhelm's Portland Memorial, we encourage families to create very personalized services. It is important to acknowledge that life that has been lived and to offer to the community a way in which to celebrate that life. By offering services and memorialization features that are personal and special, a unique life can be remembered and honored in an individualized way that is comforting to the family and friends.
The services you select may depend upon whether you are making immediate need or “advance planning” arrangements. Even though we specialize in helping you create individual and personalized fuenrals, this page contains commonly selected examples of burial and cremation service plans. When one of the following service plans is selected, the complete price can be less than the total price of the components included if selected separately. Complete Traditional Service |

This offering includes the services of the funeral director and administrative staff for coordinating and directing the services; online obituary placement for a 12 month period; obtaining legal documents and other paperwork necessary to complete the arrangements; our staff’s transportation of the deceased to the funeral home (within a 30 mile radius); embalming or refrigeration and sanitary care of the deceased; use of preparation room; dressing, casketing and cosmetology; use of the facilities for visitation or sheltering of the deceased if there is no viewing; use of our chapel facility or use of our equipment for services at the church or facility of your choice; coordinating directing of the committal services at the cemetery and procession to the cemetery by motorcycle escort; and use of our funeral hearse and flower car.
This offering does not include Medical Examiner transportation fees (if any), the printed materials such as memorial folders, guest book or acknowledgment cards, the casket selection, limousine services, cemetery costs or outer burial container cost and cash advances made on your behalf. |

Simple Funeral Service |

This offering includes the services of the funeral director and administrative staff for coordinating and directing the services; online obituary placement for a 12 month period; obtaining legal documents and other paperwork necessary to complete the arrangements; our staff’s transportation of the deceased to the funeral home (within a 30 mile radius); embalming or refrigeration and sanitary care of the deceased; use of preparation room; dressing, casketing and cosmetology; use of the facilities for visitation or sheltering of the deceased if there is no viewing; use of our chapel facility or use of our equipment for services at the church or facility of your choice; delivery of the casket to the local cemetery of your choice by service vehicle.

This offering includes the services of the funeral director and administrative staff for coordinating and directing the services; online obituary placement for a 12 month period; obtaining legal documents and other paperwork necessary to complete the arrangements; our staff’s transportation of the deceased to the funeral home (within a 30 mile radius); embalming or refrigeration and sanitary care of the deceased; use of preparation room; dressing, casketing and cosmetology; use of the facilities for visitation or sheltering of the deceased if there is no viewing; use of our funeral hearse for transportation of the casket to the local cemetery of your choice.
